Felted Octopus

If you've ever been curious about WET felting (which does have differences from its cousin, needle felting), then it's time for a little under the sea fun with this octopus class. This project will be a great way to "get your feet wet" in this medium - all 8 of them! In this beginner friendly class we will go over fiber layout, felting over a resist, and shaping wet felted pieces. On top of being able to work with lovely merino wool, students will get to play with a variety of accent fibers like silk, bamboo, and Angelina. The result will be a fun cephalopod that is completely unique to its maker. There will be a tiny bit of needle felting for the eyes so this class will be a 2 for 1 experience for wool creations.
