Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some Frequently Asked Questions about our workshops. Please contact us if you have additional questions or concerns

What is the Cancellation Policy for Workshops?

Payment in full is required for class registration. A refund, minus processing fees is available if cancellation is received a week or more in advance of class time. If you cancel within a week of class and we are able to fill your spot, you will receive class credit. Credits must be used within a year.

What if I want to attend a class but the date listed doesn't work for me?

We offer private bookings for parties of 4 or more for most workshops! Just call or email us to inquire about availability.

How do I redeem a Gift Certificate for a Workshop?

Give us a call or stop by to register. Our online registration doesn't have the option to accept gift certificates.

I don't like to use a credit card online. Can I call to register?

Absolutely! Our pricing structure online includes credit/debit card processing fees. This is also the price you will pay if you use a credit or debit card over the phone or in person. If you'd like to save on those processing fees, you can call to have your space saved and we can give you our Zelle information to make payment, or you can pay with cash or check at the studio. If you are new to paying us through Zelle, please request a QR code so that you know your money is coming to us. We have been recently been made aware of imposters out there!

A class says SOLD OUT. Do you offer a waiting list?

Yes! Occasionally we have a last minute cancellation and would love to be able to accommodate those who need to cancel as well as those who want to attend!

Is there a minimum amount of students required for workshops?

Each workshop has a minimum amount of students required to pre-register for the class to be held.

This number varies by instructor. If minimums are not met within 4 days of class, class may be cancelled. In this case, the class fees are refunded or applied toward another class.

Is there a minimum age for the workshops?

Our classes are suited for ages 14 and up, some are appropriate for 12 and up. Please inquire about specific classes. Many of our classes involve cutting glass, so the workshop space is not appropriate for children/babies to come along with you. Looking for classes for kids? We recommend Art House Reno, Arts for All Nevada or the Nevada Museum of Art.

Can we bring food to workshops?

For classes that are under 4 hours, we ask that you eat before or after coming to the studio. For classes over 4 hours, a snack break is often factored in. Our shorter (1.5 to 3 Hour) classes utilize the entire time for instruction and creating and there is no time to stop for a food break. We also cannot have food on the work tables in many of our classes for safety reasons.

Can we bring wine/alcoholic beverages to workshops?

No. Although the trend lately is to sip & craft/paint, we do not allow alcohol during our classes. The first reason is safety. Many of our workshops involve cutting and working with glass. Even though most of our workshops are beginner level, the quality of class as well as instruction requires the students to have a level of attention that shouldn't be inhibited by alcohol. Also, we pride ourselves on great teachers who make their students feel at ease when delving into a new medium. You are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages in a container with a lid. Lids are required for safety reasons in all Mosaic and Fused and Stained Glass workshops.

COVID/Health Protocol-
