Felted Soap

You've asked for more felting classes and we are finally brining you a wet-felting class!

Join Lynn Short and learn the basics of wet felting - considered to be the traditional and oldest method of felting. In this workshop, suitable for beginners, get your hands wet and soapy as you combine layers of wool to create unique designs and patterns. During the workshop, we'll discuss the different types of wool and wet felt three bars of soap. 

Felted soap is simply a bar of soap wrapped in wool. This thin wool coat helps soap last longer, and makes slippery bars easier to hang on to. The wool is very gently exfoliating, and can replace a washcloth or bath pouf in the shower.

Please bring 1. a beach or large bath towel; and 2. a deep plastic or metal bowl or a plastic dishpan. All other supplies will be provided. Extra Felt packets will be available for purchase after class to make additional bars at home!

At this time, masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.
