Glass Fusion Pocket Vase

It's been four years since we've offered this class!

Taught by in house artist, Donna Smit, will guide students in creating two glass fusion pocket vases. These vases are approximately 4"x6" and students will use fiber paper to create a pocket to hold water and place a small live bouquet. Each student will learn to cut glass and also learn to use nippers to create small petals for the flowered design. Embellishments such as murrini dragonflies, bees and ladybugs can be added.. These beauties can be placed indoor or outdoors and make perfect gifts. Donna will teach you several different techniques that include copper inclusions that beads can be added later after kiln firing. All materials are included. This is a beginner level class, but seasoned students will enjoy learning new techniques
