Glass Fusion SCALES

Donna Smit, in house glass fusion and mixed media artist, shares with students her unique process of creating "scales" with the use of enamels and frit. Students will also learn about layering glass- transparent and opaque and the use of stringers and frit. Copper inclusions will be added to make your finished piece a suncatcher or stake for yard art.  Previous glass cutting experienced preferred. Please respond to your confirmation email and let us know if you plan on making a fish so we can have the base cut for you.
