Glass Fusion Shapes and Techniques

In house artist Donna Smit will teach this series of upcoming workshops for the more seasoned student. Donna will focus each workshop on specific design elements that will include one of the following projects; special emphasis exploring cutting techniques to create shapes, how to create your own stunning jewelry using dichroic glass, using frit to create scenic landscapes as well as using enamels and stencils to create unique creations as well as design theory. Students will learn to create their own colored glass shapes.This first workshop will concentrate on using nippers to create shapes and each student will create a 6" suncatcher or trivet. Each student must have taken at least two of Donna's previous glass fusion workshops to register. Limited to eight students.

*Masks are required in all indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status. Please plan on wearing a mask unless policies are changed before classtime.
