Glass Fusion Windchimes

This is a great class to help with getting out of our box and invite a bit of random chaos into our art experience. Abstract art can be fun, using scraps of glass to create a suncatcher or windchime with transparent and opaque fusible glass. Millifiore, stringers, vitrograph, dichroic and Donna’s baubles will all be available. Students will also use fiber paper to allow for stringing fishing line and beads after these pieces are fired. A lecture on the science of glass followed by a glass cutting demo will get students ready to nip, cut and glue fusible glass scraps and create unique suncatchers. Donna will also have pre-made pieces for students to supplement their artwork (flowers, trees, stars, hearts, etc.) All supplies are always included. This is a great workshop for beginners and explores new techniques for experienced students.
