Glass Fusion Yard Art

Copper Cat Studio's in-house glass fusion and mixed media artist, Donna Smit, guides students in creating small (4 inch) glass fusion flowers, bees, ladybugs, dragonflies, hearts, dog paws and more. Each student will create up to three whimsical pieces and all come with yard stakes. These beauties can be placed in indoor planters or outdoor gardens. This is a beginner level class and the first hour will begin with an extensive lecture on the science of glass, glass cutting and design principles. Donna will teach students several different techniques that include copper inclusions that beads can be added later after kiln firing. All materials, tools for use, and garden stakes are included.
