Linoleum Block Printing

Join us for this special spring edition linocut class where students will learn how to carve a linoleum block which we will use to print out some lovely cards that you can send to your favorite people just in time for Easter. This is a beginner friendly printmaking class where we will go over carving, inking, and multiple ways to print. Time permitting, we will add watercolor to enhance your design.

For image selection students can bring in their own photographs, images from magazines, drawings, etc, or use some of the pre-printed images provided in class. It is recommended if you are bringing your own images to have them in physical form (printed or drawn on paper). All other materials such as inks, paper, blocks, and carving tools are provided.

This class is appropriate for ages 14+
