Metal & Ink Dye Art

Dye, crush, glaze, and wrap! Join in-house artist Donna Smit at Copper Cat Studio for studio day filled with multimedia projects. A potpourri of wall art, stunning ornaments and whimsical magnets will be available to choose from while learning multiple techniques. Each student will learn how to use alcohol inks on metal substrate, simple glass cutting, wire wrapping and beading. We will use crushed glass to embellish the projects and different from our resin classes, we will be using diamond glaze, which means projects will be able to be taken home the day of class! Every student will create either one large piece (8"-10") or four small ornaments/magnets (2"-3"). Time permitting, additional pieces can be created which are payable to the instructor that range from $5-$15. *Please bring a cardboard tray to take your projects home so they can lay flat.*
