Metal & Ink Dye Art - Holiday Edition

Copper Cat Studio's in-house glass fusion and mixed media artist, Donna Smit, guides students in creating holiday themed metal and ink dye artwork. This is a beginner level class, and the first half hour will begin with a lecture on the application process of applying alcohol inks onto a metal substrate. Students will choose from a variety of designs- Halloween, Christmas and other shapes that can be used for holiday decorations. Once the inks have been applied, and dried, students will add layer of bits of glass, beads, jewelry as well as organic materials such as seashells, wood, moss, etc. This is a great workshop to get your creative juices flowing for the upcoming holiday season. All materials and tools for use are included.
