Mosaic 101

Copper Cat Studio owner and lead mosaicist, Katie teaches this Intro to the Glue and Grout Method of Mosaic. She gives a very detailed lecture on the basics of design, assembly, materials & grouting. All materials are included and feature tesserae from Katie's personal collection -glass tile, metal tiles, rocks, glass gems, shells, marble, stone, ceramic tile, stained glass, handmade tiles and many other finds from around the country and world. Feel free to bring in pieces to add. Students have the option of returning to the studio at a later date for a private grouting session (included in class fee) or taking dry grout home to complete the project. If you think you may want to continue on with mosaics, this is the class that you want to take!
