Nuno Felted Flower

Join guest artist/instructor Lynn Short in creating a one-of-a-kind Nuno felted flower. Nuno felting is a newer felting technique that bonds wool into a layer of sheer fabric with enhanced color and texture. Each flower will be created using wool and a variety of silk fabrics and hankies, making each unique. We'll finish each flower by adorning it with buttons, beads, and sequins. The Nuno felted flower may be a brooch, attached to a headband or a decorative accent. Make the Nuno felted flower for yourself or a perfect gift for someone you love! This workshop is perfect for beginners. 

All supplies will be provided, though attendees should bring two bath or beach towels and optional- a rolling pin.

Class is four hours with a lunch/snack break factored in.
