Pinecone Flower Art

Just in time for Mother's Day!  Make it a double header and stay for Soap Making in the afternoon.

Owner of Pinecone Allée and Creator/Blogger, Kristen Holden, will guide you in creating a pinecone flower art piece. In this workshop, you will learn how to turn an ordinary pinecone into a beautiful flower and then use that flower to create a favorite flower type such as sunflowers, daisies, mums, violets, and more. All materials required for the project are included: pine wooden background for mounting, adhesive, a variety of pinecone flower options and dried stems to choose from, hanging wire, and acrylic paints. A short carving demo will be provided to demonstrate the flower-creating and mounting process. An additional take-home DIY flower art kit ($25), will also be available for those who would like to take home the materials and make a second art piece. Size is approximately 4" x 12"+/-. 

This class is appropriate for ages 14+
