Pressed Flower Plant Stake

In this workshop you’ll learn how to incorporate pressed flowers into your stained glass pieces. For this workshop your flowers will be pressed between a bevel and a precut piece of glass and you’ll have a variety of shapes, sizes and colors to choose from. Participants will get a brief tutorial on how to press flowers, then they will learn how to use a glass grinder (if needed), a special trick to help keep the moisture out, how to copper foil, solder and then clean their pieces.

Each participant will leave with a finished plant stake around 2.5”- 3” depending on the bevel picked.

Ages 15+. All students will need to sign a waiver prior to taking the course. Please wear shoes that completely cover our feet (No Sandals or flip flops) Aprons are provided but it's advised to wear clothes that you would craft in.
