Reductive Printing - Halloween Edition

With fall right around the corner, what better way to celebrate than by making your own Halloween print? Join us for a full day delving into this fun medium.

Printmaking is an artform that lets artists create multiples of their work and has existed before laser printers or even the printing press. In this special expanded printmaking class, we will experiment with a small sample piece before students dive into the main project. There will be instruction in the morning with a lunch break before we get into the finale stages of making the cat and pumpkin image, (We will have a 30 minute break, so feel free to bring a sack lunch). This will give everyone, beginners and veterans alike, more time to get used to carving and the printing process.
