Silk Painting with Louise Noel

SPECIAL ARTOWN EDITION!

Join silk artist Louise Noel for a one day journey into the brilliant and joyous realm of silk painting. Students have the option to paint a LONG 54x8 scarf or a SQUARE 21 x 21 scarf. Louise guides students using the Sert (closed fence method of silk painting). An assortment of patterns is available for students to choose from. This session, we will use various resists...dive into vibrant color, play with surface treatments, use alcohol and salt to create texture and movement. Steam setting will be provided for your finished scarves so that you can proudly wear or display your art. Patterns are provided to assist the students in design. 

**Included in the class price- the student also goes home with stretcher, additional scarf and inks to make a second scarf!
