About The Workshop

We are excited to bring you this techniques workshop with Amy and Vanessa of A Glass Fantasy.

This class will be focusing specifically SOLDERING! One of the hardest parts to master in the stained glass process, the art of soldering takes practice, practice, practice. And you will get lots of practice in this workshop! Students will get to experiment on pre-foiled pieces of glass provided by the instructors. Amy and Vanessa will go more in depth about the basics of soldering as well as decorative soldering. If students would like help with foiling, that will be addressed as well.

If you have your own tools and materials that you know you already like, but want to get more comfortable using, please bring them with you to class. ie: your own soldering iron, specific brand of flux that might be different than what we use.

This class is limited to eight students.

Ages 15+. All students will need to sign a waiver prior to taking the course. Please wear closed toed/closed heeled shoes. Aprons are provided but it's advised to wear clothes that you would craft in. If you are making it a double header with our Glass Cutting workshop in the morning, there will be time to take a lunch break

Masks are optional for this workshop, but you may want to bring one along if you think you might be sensitive to soldering fumes.

Pricing includes processing fees. If you'd like to avoid fees or are uncomfortable paying online, call the studio to save your spot and register with Venmo or Zelle. COST: $50 Venmo or Zelle / $54 Credit or Debit Card
