String Art- Tahoe

We are excited to bring you the art of creating imagery via string with artist Kelsey Mast. Students will hammer nails into a pre-made design then wrap thread around the nails that they have attached on a wooden board to achieve a beautiful image! This class will focus on the importance of creative outlet and help keep the mind sharp. Completing a string art project simulates the brain and allows students to problem solve in a relaxed setting. From beginner to advanced there are many styles and techniques that can be used. There is no right or wrong way in doing string art and that is what keeps this artform fun! This class is limited to 10 spaces. All supplies are included in the class fee.  

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.
